We are the Humane Society of the Ouachitas (HSO) a non-profit, NO-KILL shelter, and we invite you to browse and get to know us! We also invite you to register with our site (at the left side) and you will have access to more cool stuff, from browsing our pet list, browsing our 'special pets of the week', checking out our events such as our spay/neuter clinics, including helpful hints for your pets, and an invitation to enter our FREE contests when we schedule them!
Registration is fast and we only ask for your email address. (We do NOT give your address out to anyone.) Once you register, you will receive an email from us explaining how to complete your registration.

Adoptable Pet List. Our shelter is open 5 days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 2 pm. We have many dogs, cats, kittens and puppies of all shapes and sizes waiting for loving permanent homes. Come out today and adopt a new furry friend!
